I have some arguments why I prefer classical music to pop music. First, Classical music is good for growing children. This is why i suggest all parents to play classical music for their children even when their children has not born yet. The softness of the music shall stimulate their brain so it will work in maximum way.
Classical music also good for students, because it can increase your concentration. This helps very much when students want to study. They need silenceness, thus, they need music. Of course in classical music, the volume is not that high. Unlike pop music. So they can learn effectively.
For people in depression, Classical music can relax your mind, especially when you are feeling blue. Sometimes, if they want to meditate, they could use Classical music to accompanied them in their meditation.
Most teenagers these days would prefer pop music to classical music, that’s because they thought listening to pop music is cooler than listening to classical music. Some pop music makes teenager act brutally, especially when a pop music concert was held.
I believe, if all people in Indonesia listen classical music more than pop music, will increase the number of criminality, or any other unpleasant act.
That’s because classical music makes us think clearly, and rational.

Apply the Capital Punishment !

Capital punishment should be applied in this country, especially for homicide cases. Because in some cases, a murderer who kills innocent people is punished only with very light punishment. The person who has been killed had gone forever, but the murderer a few years later will have walked out from the jail with a smile in his or her face. This is very unfair. With the capital punishment, criminals get punishment as heavy as he or she deserves to get. The most important reason why capital punishment should be applied is because it prevents people from doing crime, especially a murder. Some surveys show that the level of crime in countries applying this kind of punishment is lower than countries which do not apply it. Some people say that capital punishment is a form of violence toward human rights. But if we think wisely, the person who commits the murder has already violated the human rights. It was clear that he or she does not respect it. So, if we apply this punishment we can protect the human rights, from those who do not respect it. It also mean that we understand how precious the human life are.

Women in Combat Positions in Military Should be Allowed

In my opinion, women should be allowed to fulfill combat positions in military in the world, including in Indonesia. I mean all positions in the military. If the women are capable, why not? Let us see what opponents say.

First, the opponents of allowing women in combat positions argue that it is too dangerous to women to be prisoners of wars. They say that there is much greater probability for acts of sexual molestation and rape. Thus, women will be subjected to the horrors of combat. However, I, and many more people argue that adult women who have decided to join the military is aware of the consequences. I mean, the women have thought and predicted the cosequences before making the decision to be in dangerous military atmosphere.

Second, they opponents argue that women do not have physycal strength and endurance. They say that being in the military is physically demanding job that not everyone is fit to handle and surely I agree. Despite thus, all experts agree that there are some women, although in small number, have the physical strength and endurance to be soldiers. I believe those such women are same with male soldiers, or perhaps more.

Third, the opponents say that men are not able to trust women to be capable to do their phisycal duties. Surely, that condition can lead to a serious problem. But I think, it will not happen to women who have physical strength and endurance to be soldiers, as I wrote above. I also think that the problem is truly in side of men. The men have to trust that such women to keep their spirit and solidarity working.

The last, the opponents argue that women life will be full of romantic relationships. They also argue that pregnancy will hurt their readiness to commit the duties. However, the statistics show pregnancy has little bearing on military readiness. In fact, women on the average spend a mere one fewer hour per month at work then their male counterparts. Women also have a lower rate of lost time at work than their male counterparts.

Thus again, women should be allowed in combat positions in military.If our country, Indonesia want to be the most capable and most powerful military power like the U.S, we need to have the best person in each job, regardless of their genders.
