An argument involves the process of establishing a claim and then proving it with the use of logical reasoning, examples, and research.


Why is organization important in building an argument?
Guides an audience through your reasoning process (some of you have done a very good job)

Offers a clear explanation of each argued point (most of you need real examples in each of your points)

Demonstrates the credibility of the writer (most of your writing did not show the credibility of an ITB student)
